A pastoral note from the new Senior Priest of St Andrew’s Church, Abu Dhabi and St Thomas’, Al Ain
I leave San Francisco for Abu Dhabi today and will (officially) start as the Senior Pastor this Thursday, October 21, the Feast of St Ursula.
There will be lots to do to get settled in, acclimated, and up and running. And I am so looking forward to meeting you, getting to know you, and doing God’s good work with you!
I am excited to build on our 50+ year legacy and to journey together into this next chapter “on the way” of Christ,
All good blessings,
Mother Christine Trainor +

Final letter from Rev Paul
Dear St Andrew's,
This, my final contribution to the Newsletter, gives me much pleasure. In just a few days time the Rev Christine Trainor will arrive in Abu Dhabi to start her ministry as the Vicar of St Andrew's in partnership with the ministry that all the members of St Andrew's undertake in our vocation as followers of Jesus Christ. I know that you will all give her a very warm welcome and that you will do all that you can to make her settling in as easy as possible. This is a very exciting moment in the ongoing life of St Andrew's and I pray that your ministry under her leadership will be greatly blessed.
I will be visiting the UAE later this month and I hope to come to St Andrew's at some point before my return to the UK in early November. I continue to pray for you all and I thank you for your prayers which have been such a vital part of the process of resettlement that I and our family have been engaged in these last few months.
Yours, in the the fellowship of the Gospel,
Paul
