The Chaplain Writes
2013 has been a year of change for St Andrew’s Church.  There has been the building developments, change in staff and some challenging decisions. All this is done in the context of being part of a wider church  in the Anglican Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf.  Please don’t forget our sister churches facing massive challenges in Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Attached is our Diocesan newsletter which portrays the challenges and activities of the last few months for Anglican Christians in our region.
Throughout this year we have been conscious of the presence and strength of our Lord Jesus Christ. He promised that he would never leave us and that has been indeed our testimony.  May the New Year of 2014 bring the deeper awareness that Christ will never leave us and He will walk with us through all the places and events that we will encounter in the New Year.
Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year from Canon Andy and the St Andrew’s Team.
